Every small stitch tells a story and sometimes, the smallest crochet projects bring the biggest joy.

Hello there, and welcome to SmallCrochet.com

My name is Amanda Parker, and I’m so happy you’re here.

I’ve been crocheting for most of my life, and even after all these years, there’s still something magical about turning a simple ball of yarn into something beautiful, cozy, and handmade.

I grew up in a quiet home where creativity was part of everyday life. My grandmother first taught me how to crochet when I was just a little girl. I still remember sitting beside her with tangled yarn in my lap, trying to copy every movement of her crochet hook while she patiently smiled through my crooked stitches.

My very first projects were tiny things small flowers, uneven coasters, little squares that somehow never matched. But honestly, that’s where my love for crochet truly began.

Over the years, crochet became much more than a hobby for me. It became my peaceful escape after long days, my creative comfort during difficult moments, and my favorite way to slow down and enjoy life one stitch at a time.

While many crocheters enjoy large blankets and complicated designs, I found myself falling in love with small crochet projects.

There’s something special about creating quick, meaningful pieces that anyone can enjoy making especially beginners. Small projects feel relaxing, achievable, and fun. They’re perfect for cozy evenings, thoughtful handmade gifts, and little moments of creativity during busy days.

That passion inspired me to create SmallCrochet.com a warm and beginner-friendly place for crocheters who love simple, beautiful handmade creations.

Most of the crochet patterns, tutorials, and ideas I share on SmallCrochet.com are completely free because this website was never created just to make money it was created to share a genuine love for crochet, creativity, and handmade joy with others around the world.
